Melos travels to the AMI Cables Conference 2021 with new cable compounds

As one of the first events for the cable industry after the Corona break, the AMI Cables Conference will take place from 14-16 Sept. 2021 at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne. The Melos team will be there and is looking forward to meeting many familiar and new contacts.

The new Melos Cable Compounds main catalogue is in the luggage. Here, in addition to the proven and familiar product range, you will find some new compounds.

One new product is Mecoline IS TP 1043 F. This is a universally applicable sheathing compound that has been specially developed for the optical fibre cables sector. This halogen-free compound combines good flame properties, low shrinkage and a high degree of flexibility.

Another new development is the FM 0700/7 bedding compound for PVC cables, which, due to its polymer base, guarantees a constant material output even at high line speeds, as well as enabling good and easy stripping from the insulation.
